Salam
I'm new to this forum but iv'e noticed that a lot of the people in here seem to to want a good working democracy in the lands inhabited by Pashtuns like Afghanistan and Pakistan. My concern is that most of you don't realize that in Islam you can't vote for someone that represents Islam in the most rightful way, because sharia has a set rule of laws, and whether the leader of the country/kingdom is George Bush or any random person the law will be and should be the same in every Islamic country.
Examples that we should follow for a future Pashtunistan(I know it's very unlikely it will happen, but if it does) shouldn't be successful democratic countries like Malaysia, even though they It might seem like a good option, but they should be like the Islamic caliphates or like the Ottoman empire.
Also many of us think that advancement in science is not compatible with a country that follows the sharia law, however the examples that i just gave had very much advanced in those type of fields.
