PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Culture Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is a candle for the entire humanity and guarantee of success in this world and hereafter. He always preached love, peace, tolerance and brotherhood and showed patience, he said.This he said while addressing the mehfil-e-naat khwani held on eve of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi SAW at Nishtar Hall Peshawar on Sunday. Prof. Hafiz Abdul Ghafoor also spoke on the occasion and threw light on the life of our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).Besides the religious personalities, Lady MPA Tabasum Kathozai and Secretary Information Azmat Hanif Aurakzai were also present on this occasion.The Minister said that Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was a symbol of greatness and his whole life was highly balanced. He never liked extremism in any matter. He added that Islam is a complete code of life and there was no place for violence and extremism in Islam. The minister termed the existing terrorism in the society, a bad shape of violence and extremism adding those involved in terrorism, have to face their deeds in the world hereafter.Mian Iftikhar continued that Islam is universal and sacred religion which accepts modernism and it was the basic reason behind rapidly spreading of Islam. But unfortunately, a small chunk of terrorists, mortgaged the society in the name of religion and assassinating the innocent people, he furthered. He said that acting upon the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) was the only way of success and getting rid of the present critical situation.The Culture Minister while appreciating the efforts of his department maintained that holding of such useful religious programs were the need of the hour for guidance of people in right direction and the government would fully support such events.Later, the Minister gave away cash awards to 11 female naatkhwans and announced that his department would very soon arrange a grand function of Hamd-o-Naat in Nishtar Hall Peshawar in which prominent naatkhawns both male and female of the province would be invited
