Default Nawabzada Mohsin Ali joins ANP

After spending much time with PPP sherpao, PML N and Imran Khan, Nawab Zada Mohsin Ali Khan, son in law of Aslam Khattak will be known as nationalist.
Interestingly I still remember the days when he use to be main opponent of the Awami national Party and Pakhtunkhwa. However, we can consider it the success of the policies of ANP. no ba tsa owayou.

You may under estimate ANP by calculating the term of few years. Probabbly, this means, ANP will be getting more strength in coming years.
I use to judge the political scenario by looking to the decessions of such people.

Joining ANP in such a crucial stage of crises, is of course a symbol of courage, manhood and nationalism. A selfish man will never join ANP at this time as every body knows how riscky it will be to join hands with ANP and confront the terrorists. In such stages sometimes the closest friends desert to avoid being targetted by the terrorists.
I salute his courage and decission.
It is high time that every pakhtun must strengthen their hands to stop the killers and win the war of our survival.

    Tolo tha kha charey,
To me it is an other episode of Khwaja Mohammad Khan's kind of drama, but ANP cannot deny people joining its fold.
If this guy stays in ANP he has to obey the discipline and policies of the party, if he quits then he will add another page of opportunism to his political history.

    A New development in Pakhtunkhwa
    Pakhtunkhwa Jamhori Taroon
Today Pakhtunkhwa and FATA are going through one of its most difficult period. Exuberant euphoria in the masses after the 2008 elections has now been replaced by total despair.
Unfortunately the promises made by the progressive coalition in the province and at the federal level, did not materialize because of many political and administrative mistakes and failures.
The people of Pakhtunkhwa and FATA are very disheartened, they think the present provincial and federal government can neither comprehend their miseries nor formulate policies to address it. What’s more worrisome for the general public is that they don’t see a viable alternative that can fill the vacuum created by the administrative and political failure of the current political dispensation. The collective future of Pakhtoon people in Pakistan looks very murky. People are worried and are asking what will happen to them if and when the current political dispensation fails? Will they again have to endure the agony of the rule of a religious alliance? Or will the religious alliance have a more extremist overture this time around?
The Pakhtuns deserves better. They need indigenous and local solutions to their local problems. For indigenous views to be adopted and respected nationally and internationally, it is important to have consensus among the major political players, intelligentsia and the masses about our key challenges and their solutions. For this purpose Progressive Pukhtoons has launched a non-partisan initiative of consensus building in the people of Pakhtunkhwa and Pukhtoons residing all over Pakistan. This initiative is named “Pakhtunkhwa Jamhori Taroon”.
This initiative will solicit the expertise and opinion of leaders and people from across the political spectrum. According to the well respected veteran leader of the province,“Our problems are too grave for one political party or one political leader to address, we all have to come together to find a way out”
·Especially focusing on area where Pukhtoons are residing in large number
will hold seminars, group discussions town meetings on these key areas. They are:
·Image building of Pashtuns. (Differentiation between our conservative culture and extremism)
·Future vision for FATA especially economic integration of FATA in to Pakhtunkhwa
    ·Rehabilitation and Reconstruction in PATA
·Deteriorating law & Order Situation in the Province
·Shrinking Economy of Pakhtunkhwa & FATA
·Addressing higher unemployment in FATA and Pakhtunkhwa
    ·Curbing and combating Extremism
·Revamping the bureaucratic and administrative structure
·Local Governments, the best way forward
·Human Rights especially equal rights for women
·A New social contract for the country (more elaboration will be provided in a separate document)
·Good Relations with Afghanistan and all other neighbors
·A master plan for development of Pakhtunkhwa
·To give equal rights and opportunities address the concerns of Pukhtoons residing in other part of the country
    · Good governance
    The Objectives of PJT:
The objective of PJT is to strive for Peace, Prosperity and Development of Pakhtunkhwa, Southern Pakhtunkhwa (Balochistanan) , Qabaili Pakhtunkhwa. and Pukhtoons residing in other provinces.
Society in Pakistan in general and in Pakhtunkhwa & FATA in particular is very fragmented. More and more social view are becoming violently divisive. The formation of a new coalition of moderate political and social entities with grass-root support and a clear developmental policy is the need of the hour. Unfortunately in such divisive environment such a coalition cannot be formed without an independent entity working as a catalyst for consultation among different segments of the society. The neutral entity must prepare a policy document through a consultation process in order to gel the coalition together and more importantly to do opinion building among different segments of the society.
PJT shall be an independent forum for debate, consultation and convergence of views on socio-political and developmental issues pertaining to Pakhtuns. The consultation process will be inclusive and shall be open to all members of the society irrespective of their political affiliations, religious beliefs, and ethnicity.

The extensive consultation process will be accompanied by meticulous research by experts on developmental issues pertaining to Pakhtunkhwa, Balouchistan & FATA. Consensus reached on major issues through the consultation process and reports prepared by our research team will be disseminated to the general public through civil society organizations and the mass media.

    The Structure of PJT
PJT will have 10-15 Management Committee members elected by the forum. These members will meet regularly and discuss administrative and managerial issues. Decision making will be done by the entire Forum. Once properly established the forum will Focus on four key issues.
1.Research: As an independent organization PJT will conduct research on social, political, cultural, and economic issues relevant to the Pakhtun people.
·Information will be collected through multiple sources especially utilizing the intelligentsia in FATA and Pakhtunkhwa
·Research will be conducted to challenge stereotypes about PAKHTUNKHWA & FATA, to recognize the situation on the ground in great detail, identify and outline all the players and their strategies and perceptions.
·The Research department will develop a developmental framework for the province and FATA through consensus with clearly identified capabilities and restrictions.
2.Consultation and Coalition building Process: PJT will engage different individuals and groups initially through seminars and conferences and later through district and Tehsil level meetings
·The goal will be the convergence of views on key political and developmental issues through intense and genuine consultation with general public, intelligentsia, community elders and political leaders
·This Forum will provide a place for a diverse group of political activists and groups where they can meet each other and discuss policy matters in a friendly manner
    3. Civil Society and Media: Pakhtunkhwa and FATA is the focus of national and international attention. There are wide discrepancies between the information that is commonly available about our area in the international media and the realities on the ground. As a result the magnitude of problems of Pakhtunkhwa & FATA are neither properly understood nor effectively addressed.
·The forum will share its research reports and recommendations obtained through the consultative process with national and international think tanks, donors and other developmental organizations.
    · Our objective is to align the international community’s position with that of local moderate people and groups and move towards an action that is both practical and cost effective, fulfilling all prerequisites for success.
    · Traditional donor driven agenda will be examined critically through partnership with organizations in consonance with our philosophy.
·The forum will use the print and electronic media to propagate their point of view and develop a working group for journalists. Research and analysis will be periodically shared with them.
    4. FATA and PATA Working Group: Due to the gravity of situation in FATA & PATA special emphasis will be placed on finding viable policy recommendations for this area. A team that will be dominated by people of FATA and PATA will be constituted to address FATA & PATA related issues.
At the completion of our consultation process we will publish a book “The voice of the Pakhtun people” (Tentative name open to discussion). This book will be a dossier of our problems and its potential solutions.

    Habib-ul Haq writes;
Nawab zada Mohsin Ali khan has joined ANP That is so shocking news for the sincere workers of the party . ANP has always claimed to be the party of principles and committed workers . Allowing Mohsin Ali like habitual defector and political nomad to ANP ranks negates that claim. He is known for his chameleon type of politics and always try to be in the side of government. Since the last decade he was on the brink of political death as he has been repeatedly failed to get any seat from Karak, from where once he used to be elected due to several factors . However those times are gone and now the people of that land (Karak) look to the local politics with totally different approach
Electing some one as their representative who never belong to their soil is now not only implausible even supporters of such persons (if any ) will be only just toadies and will be taken as traitors by respectable folk of Karak Apart from it ANP workers and supporters in general and particularly in district Karak are highly critical of the party high ups decision for brining a notorious habitual turncoat to ANP and imposing him on the genuine workers
One could not comprehend the rationale of such policy on the part of ANP top leadership
