Geo Television Network is making another boom in Pakistani media by launching its 24 hours live TV channel "Geo Taiz". Khyberwatch learns from close sources to the Geo Network.

"geo taiz will be a unique channel which will be giving hard times to its compititors".

When asked what happened to Geo's Pashto channel project, source said that the project is still there but it is not yet dicided to be launched.

we've to use common sense. I don't think, any political party will be allowed to launch its Statlite channel in Pakistan.

I would second Watangul.The well off people in Pakhtuns not only should think over launching a channel to serve their nation which is implied in it anyway but also to get into the most lucrative and productive business.The age of Cinema and Real Estate is gone due to global recession.I recently talked to my friend in UAE who told me about Bangash's economic empire and Pakhtuns Foundation and also informed me that in Dubai now 70 percent of the cheque are getting bounced due to lack of investment.

These Pakhtuns should get some sense and take the initiative.

When asked what happened to Geo's Pashto channel project, source said that the project is still there but it is not yet dicided to be launched.

the name suggests that it will be a business channel and I think it was badly required. We had two business channels but both of them are useless.
