سلامونه او پخیرونه،
هيله کوم چې تاسو ټول روغ او جوړ ياستۍ
I was wondering if every one can jot down a list of Pashto words. Words that are smooth and can be easily pronounced by both Pashtons and Non-Pashtons.
Like: هيله، ډيوه، تاند، هيواد، واک، پاڅون
Please, do write their meanings right beside each word.
Thank you
EDIT:
So far I have the following words on my list for the news site.
واک خبري اژانس
انګازي خبري اژانس
اولس خبري اژانس

There is way too much information in that topic. I browsed through page 6-9 and I was not able to find any good words. Actually, I want to register another domain instead of "www.ludinnews.com" for the news site. Therefor I need a name for the site. The word should math the content of the site.
Right now there are three words in my mind; سحر، سهار او واک . However, I am not sure about سحر. I don't know if it is a Pashto or Farsi word. Both, سحر and سهار are used for morning. Most Persians in Afghanistan use صبح instead of سحر for morning.
سحر is an Arabic word.
And what do u mean by تاند?

Coining Words
Rules for coining new words
In order to coin new word I have made some rules for myself to follow. They are given below.
A: Length
1- To make new words from the existing words would require us to join 2 or/and 3 words. For this it will be necessary that the such existing words are mono-syllabic, so that the newly coined word is not very lengthy.
2- First we will use mono-sullabic, or at best bi-syllabic, words of Puxto. If the Puxto words are multi-syllabic and their equivalent Arabic, Persian or Sanskrit words are mono-syllabic, then we should use the word/s of these other languages.
B: Agreeability (pirzovaaley)
1- We must endeavour not to use dissonant words of any language, including Puxto.
2- The combination of some sounds make a word melodious. We must take into account the melodiousness of the coined words.
The following are a few of the words I have coined.
Volume=gazhkach, Thermometer= taokachun, tabakachun, thermometry= taokach, University=harlost'tun, drawingroom=naastiza, bedroom= mlaastiza, bathroom= laambtun, swimming pool= laambotun, seat= keniz, seating capacity= keniztyaa, grass mower= gayaareb, harvester= laokaodey, cutter= prekaodey, grassland= gayaadaag, high jump= dang daang, airborne=havaagir, take off= barkhat, one who takes off= barkhezh, high seer= barvin, deep sighted= zavarvin, act of seeing deep= zhavarlid, far sighted= larey vin, long- or far-sightedness= larey lid, observation= har kat, observer= har gor, high sightedness= bar kat, low sightedness= lar kat, intelligent= pohedjoga, intelligible= pohedshuney, schollar(well informed)= pohanlar, scientific= poha'eezz, understandible (comprehensible)= zdashuney, readable= lostalshuney, doctor= barzda, agriculture= kar khasmaana, agrarian= kariz, pisciculture= kab khasmaana. horticulture= gul khasmaana, apiculture= machai khasmaana, possibility= shvana, possible= shuney ( kedshuney), numerical= shmeriz, numeration= shmeredtyaa, numerable= shmeredshuney, university= harzdatun (harlost'tun), prefix= makhuka (makhinxat), suffix= langa (pasinxat), verb= krrana, subject= krruney, object= krraley, performance= kavana, existence= kedana,

I don't exactly know what taand is, but "www.taand.com" is using it for their site. I am assuming it is one of those pure pashto words which we hardly use in our daily life.Originally Posted by daurangir
Than what about سهار. We use it in our area (Logar and other central provinces).
Yeah, but they are not smooth and cannot be pronounced easily. Or some of them don't match for the site.Originally Posted by daurangir

What about these words:
differentiation, extravaganza, hybridization, synchrometer, actinomycosis, molybdenum, immunodeficincy, photoreconaissance, phreatophyte, peripatetic, and thousands like these!![]()
