    Default Zarsanga Online

I watched zarsanga interview on AVT Khyber some times back and was very impressed with her simple and graceful talk despite the fact she lived in a tent in Matani. At the end of the program Khyber's host gave an envelope to her. I was shocked how this punjabi channel giving alms to an artist but not giving her an opportunity to work. Thanks to the good news that she is invited to Afghanistan (if it is true) to perform.

Zarsanag is a legendary Pukhto singer and is an asset to our music and heritage, unfortucantely like other pukhtoo artist her work has not been given due recognition.
Thats great the she has been invited to Afghanistan for a concert as she has been off the seen for some time and almost forgotten, this will give her encouragment and a chance to relive her legendary voice(some times I dont understand her what she is singing ). she has a magical voice, no doubt.

she is invited to Afghanistan, she gave allot of interviews and concerts on all the tv channels there like ArianaTV, Shamshad TV, Afghan national tv and radio and so on.

She was there with her whole family, and she also had a concert with Ustad gulzaman.

Default Zarsanga, a flood victim awaiting govt’s help F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: Zarsanga is a great asset of Pashto language and cultural alike. She served Pashtun in entire world. She preferred Pakistan to live and rejected good offers of many countries to reside there permanently; these views were expressed by Ihtisham Toru President of the culture journalists and artists forum. A delegation of Forum visited the tent of Zarsanga where she has been living with her sons after her house was demolished by the recent monsoon flood in Azakhel Payan, Nowshera. The delegation gave 20000 in cash and other food items worth thousand of rupees. Zarsanga said that she has been living in tent for the last several months and no one had bothered to come to help her in her distress. I have served Pashtun and their culture for a long time and several countries have requested me to come and reside there but I preferred to live in my own country Pakistan as I love this country and its people. She said that as media aired her news immediately the Provincial sports and cultural minister Syed Aqil shah contacted her and ordered the cultural ministry to help her and minsiter given one lakh rupees. We are very much obliged to him, said Zarsanga. The members of the forum demanded of the Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti and Syed Aqil shah to allot Zarsanga a house in Hayat Abad as her life in tent is very miserable and the tent has no facility for her. Ihtisham Toru, President of Forum said on that occasion that his forum a representative one for the Artistes and it has many famous names in its fold. There have been only two months of its formation and during this short period it has helped the Artistes especially in flood disaster. Zarsanga demanded of the government of Pakhtunkhwa to provide her a house in a safer place so that she could live a peaceful life along with her sons and family and to serve Pakhtun culture and language.

Default Young Artist looking for a break into music...who can help me?

I have been trying to get into the music business and I wont to send my music to other markets. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on ways I can do this and be successful. I would consider myself an artist, a decent singer but in short I'm really just a good beat maker. Nevertheless if anyone can provide me some good insight I would appreciate it.

I think there are plenty of artist in the music business that are just as talented but all I want is for someone to just listen to me and really hear what I have to say about the social conditions of the globe and use that leverage as a star to affect change...I know this hyper-ambitious but its my dream. So I hope someone out there can really help.
