وران دی ګلستان دې ای بلبله ! د پښتون د باغ
نوم د رقيب ليک دی په هر بوټي د مجنون د باغ

خوار او زار بچي دې بې هنره بې کماله دي
غوږ يې دي کاڼه لاسونه شل سترګې بې پرکاله دي

لال ډوب دی ايرو کې او مرجان پروت دی په خاورو کې
زوی د شهباز ګرځي چمړۍ خوري په سيل د واورو کې

پاڅه ای ځلميه ! مستي توره او ايمان واخله
شړق شه، اور شه، تندر شه او نر شه خپل جانان واخله

توره دې راواخله ننګ پښتو او اسلام پورته کړه
له خپلو مستو سترګو دې نامه د غلام پورته کړه

پاڅه ننګياليه ! نن دلبر او جانان وګټه
نوم د پښتون وګټه ناموس د افغان وګټه

ټول جهان حيران کړه د خپل ځان په تماشا

O! You Great Ghani !!

Our nation's youth are no more that one the one you loved and admired, not that one who fought for Ahmad shah,Khoshaal baba..no more those great afridi's who smash bones of ranjit singh, no more.Our youth is lost ,they are lost in darkness of pursuing punjabi culture and to be punjabanised..Thier have turned thier backs on our poor people, they don't see the miserbale lives of our people, they don't care about the NAMOOS of our motherland..thier hearts are no more that one which used to weep when see tears in mother eyes..if you don't believe then look at our beloved mother Pushtoonkhwa watan..she is crying..she is crying for her son's and daughter's to come forward to save her..but no one is listening to her cry...hey Ghani!! come and seee...ask Ahmad shaha baba and Khoshaal baba too to see this ...

why are these pushtoons not available anymore?

Salamoona gulsherzad,
I meant my saying that the pashtoons are no more available, that people who speaks are not Pashtoons, but the people who stands for Pashto and perform Pashto by their act are Pashtoons. Today Pashtoons are busy in tearing one another clothes. Ready to kill their brother Pashtoon, but not the true enemy who is destryoing their future. This selfishness, greed, and not understanding the international political games are the drawbacks of Pashtoons. Today I think, Pashtoons are the most backward peoples in the world, perhaps some tribes in Africa etc may be more, but in large, pashtoons are.

caesar of rome used to say - peoples that live in a tribal society or society which dont get rid of tribal structures - can not develop themselves=) well that must be some 3000 yrs ago I think. this is why I was asking you WHAT DO YOU MEAN by that cause we have another saying like this: pushtoon na hagha dey che pashto wayee kho pushtoon hagha day che pushto laree. pushto larel is what makes you pushtoon.

dont get me wrong erlanger. you are not the one who is not aware of his roots and history of his forefathers and what you said shows that it bothers you so bad that pushtoons are like that. your point of view is very realistic one. and of course your right pushtoons are greedy and selfish sometimes just take a look of what Angeezee thought of pushtoons but do you think it was different 100 yrs ago? or was it different 500 yrs ago. well I tell you those greedy and selfish pushtoons who would kill (and often killed) their brother did always exist. but on other siede there are pushtoons who would go to extremes because of the love towards their friend, family or homeland. maybe these are pushtoons that you meant before
people shed red blood for their land, for their namoos there are nangyalee pushtoons who sacrificed their lives like ghaffar khan and there are turyalee ao nangyalee like ahmad shah baba.
well they still exist believe me..
but that warlike pushtoon nature - I mean this "killing own brother thing" ao che raqib rata ashna su well if you take a look at our tribal traditions and tribal identity like "qawm/khel" - well this is a different story.

ya, but the number is decreasing.
People like ahmad shah or bacha khan are born once in centuries. As a whole character of pashtoon nation is going down. Character building is the main thing. No serious struggle is in eyes today for building the national character.
