The Conditions for the Survival of a Nation
History is the memory of humanity and philosophy of history is the
analytical capability of man to distinguish correct from incorrect,
failure
from success and so on. As Intelligence is the sum of memory and
ability to
distinguish hence history and philosophy of history constitutes the
collective intelligence of mankind.
Philosophy of History helps us to know the reasons for the rise and
fall of
nations. If we trace back the reasons for the rise of nation it goes to
only
one reason as does the reasons of downfall and that sole reason is
USEFULNESS.
The nation which is useful for the mankind rises to the skies of
excellence
and the nation which is a liability instead of an asset to humanity
withers
away from the pages of history as if never existed at all. Only the
nation
which contributes to the collective evolution, progress and development
of
mankind rises. This indirectly is the surety for the survival of a
nation
which otherwise is threatened by the laws of nature all the times.
The fastest way to become useful to mankind is by focusing on the
creative
potential present in the human resources of a nation. The product of
creativity is idea. Idea is an asset. Asset is the raw material for
technology. Technology is the key to progress. Progress is the road to
glory. Glory if not shared with the rest of the humanity does not
survive
and sharing the fruits of glory makes a nation beneficial to humanity
and
gives it the guarantee for survival.
A nation with glory may not necessarily share the fruits of its glory
and
achievements with the rest of the humanity. This is the beginning of
the end
for that nation.
Surf the web if you cannot observe the world and you will come to know
why
the undeveloped nations are responsible themselves for their
backwardness
and why the developed nations deserve the position they have reached.
The
reason is usefulness.
It is very simple to say that undeveloped countries have exploitative
governments but who chooses these governments? If the governments are
dictatorships then why don’t the masses resent and resist the
dictatorship?
If there is democracy but still the system is still not based on social
justice why don’t the masses raise their voice against the system?
How do you expect any positive change which is the result and output of
human effort without actually contributing your part of input? It is
very
easy to put the blame on others but very difficult to confess one's own
limitations and try to remove them. What is seen at the top is nothing
but
the output of a nation's collective input. If there is something wrong
at
the top there must be something wrong at the bottom. If you sow seeds
of
cactus, expect the fruit to be mango and justify yourself by saying
that
what can I do…I had sown the seed, put an effort, worked hard but still
could not get the mango then you know what others will think about you.
