During my recent visit to Pakistan, I memorized some Pushto film names, while passing through nawkhaar bazaar, and Peshawar...kho raana hair shoo..
Dair funny nomoona oo...Arbaz Khan o pakay..

Yes I agree some Pukhto movie names are really funny. But I am astonished you never give any such comments about Indian movies and their songs.

It is not Munna Bhai Lage Raho. Correct one is Lage Raho Munna Bhai....in pushto it is "Lagya osay Mirza saib."

Pushto translation is so cute yaw, dwa, thre, salor, peenza, shbak, sta koam intezaar, rwazai shmaram, raasha kana, something like that..hahah

Pukhto songs kho raala raazee na, kanee pa waigano kai kho dair "cheap" songs lagaidalai ee. Aao bya picturization kho ae tasoo la pata da..

And there is no such movie, "Ghairat zama saplai" It is the production of dirty Punjabi mind who never spare a single opportunity to make fun of Pukhtuns.
About the Pukhto videos. I can bit, that all the Pukhto videos about 10 years back were picturized on Punjabi girls. If you need I can arrange few for you, where the music is Pukhto but the girl (dancer) in natural dress is Punjabi as she cant move her lips according to the song that implies she cant speak or know Pukhto.
Even the famous Musarrat Shaheen was non-Pukhtun. She was from DI Khan, a sraiki speaking. That day I was watching her programme on AVT Khyber, she couldnt speak a single sentence in Pukhto therefore she was forced to switch to Urdo.

I would like to add that even lollywood movies are crap. I am sorry to say that. Our TV dramas are excellent and un-matched but the whole film industry is quite cheap. I do like bollywood movies. There is a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig difference.

Well, like Napoleon I can also state that if one day I get a time I will upload all old Pukhto movies (Balck & White) which will be at the disposal of all Pukhtuns and Pukhto Movies can be understood as easily as science or art.

But I need time, I would like to buy some space and then you will be able to watch all these movies. I am sure you will like them.
The dresses used in these movies are typical Pukhtun dresses, with that wonderful "Gagra" "Sadar" "ghat partoog" etc. And the dance is also very nice and sober one, not like new Pukhto movies where the scene starts from a big b...k waving on that big screen.

Where on Pukhtun land women dance infront of men in such manners?No! This is not our culture and we should not praise this nonsense..all the time camera is zooming on specific parts and thats it..in my life i have watched just once such a movies but blive me my soul was dead when i came out of cenima..i was feeling guilty as ipaid for such rubbish and nonsense where my proud nation was insulted.

Yes exactly this is what I am trying to highlight.
In old (Balck & White) movies the dance is quite different. I am sure you will like it.
I have been watching Pukhto movies very regularly untill they turned into bloody vulgarity and besharmi.
That's the reason I am keeping the copies of the old movies and songs.
Now let me tell you, that I normally watch English movies whenever somebody else is with me, but believe me I dont enjoy the movie. I really wait when there is no one with me and I can watch Old Pukhto Movies of my choice and you cant imagine my feeling while watching those movies. I am hankering for renaissance of Pukhto Film Industry.

Armaan & Deedan are my favourit movies in Pashto apart from nonsense dance..yara i stop watching Pashto movies ages ago..I don't know how these actors live within a Pukhtoon village or within a Pukhtoon family after acting in such a rubbish movies? how thier women treat them?how thier villagers treat them? they should feel shame on thier work as they are simply insulting our proud nation...i am amazed non of women rights chmapions ever held demonstration or any press confrence or any article in protest against such movies.

Yess I agree that old black and white films were very nice.They were closed to our culture and our pukhtoonwalee.I have watched Baaz Shahbaaz,Ilaaka Ghair,Ganrkapp,Darra Khyber,Ajab KhanAfriday,Dehkaan,Deedan,Orbal and Meranay Roar and some more that i dont remeber.All these films are worthy to be watched.I liked all of these films.

You can still object Arman for some nonsense but not Deedan. All the dances in Deedan are excellent, whether by Yasmeen Khan or other dancers, but you just see the music part of it, almost all the songs are super hit.
