Headaches are type of pain on surface of head from deep structures of head. it may result from pain stimuli arising inside cranium or outside cranium (cranium is the skeleton enclosing brain).
Brain itself is insensitive to pain but trauma to structures related to it like duramater, blood vessels etc cause headache.
some temperory disorders that affect eyes, throat, sinuses, teeth, jaws, ears, or neck can cause headache

Meningitis is the inflammation of meningis of brain which causes extreme type of headache covering an entire head.

A migraine headache is a throbbing moderate to severe pain, usually on one side of head that is worsened by light, sounds, smells etc. it is usually associatf with nausea and vomiting. its cause is prolonged emotion or tension.

Treatment of headache depends upon its type. analgesics such as aspirin or ibuprofen can provide fast, temperory relief.
massaging the affected area may help to relieve pain.

severe headache require stronger analgisics such as codeine and oxycodon.
