Hi All,
Islam is no doubt the best way of life and we don't doubt anything about it. I was going through some islamic literature regarding relationship between a husband and wife, which includes mild beating as well. I would like to have opinion of muslim women on this issue. How do you see it, how do you feel about it? Please be truthful as your opinion adds voice to womanhood in islam.
Looking forward for your replies.

Afghan saib, i dont know much about Islam so I shouldn't talk here but whenever my mind do not accept a matter whether it is quoted through by someone interpretation of religion or culture sometimes I cant control myself to ignore. We should take the best and logical whether it comes from religion or thinking or science.Anything which goes against logic and creates something worse should be opposed.
If your interpretation means that a husband can beat his wife suppose the wife do something wrong then the same should go to wife too. I mean wife should too have the right to beat her husband when the husband do something wrong.
In a sense, there is no space to beat some one so far there is laws and priciples in a state. And if one violates an established law he/she should be punished by the govt/state law. We poor illiterate muslims have kept our women in the line of children and thus jammed the two wheels of our vehical. Women and Man are equal just a few bio-functional differences are there where one is physical weakness of woman compare to man is exploited in backward societies based on force and physical strength. The west gave equal rights to women and thus doubled their strength in every aspect of life which is obvious from their status in world economies, politics etc.I am not advocating the moral/ethical persuation of the west here which are ofcourse different in different societies and to uphold those particular ethics of a society are not specific to woman only but to a man equally but yes of-course we need to follow them in equality of both genders. If we do consider woman like children they will behave like children forever as is often seen in our societies.
