The domination of man over woman is the outcome of hundreds of centuries of exploitation of the fairer sex by men
The insurmountable problem for a woman is that she strives for her rights at par with man in the world dominated and ruled by man. All along her journey through the ages she faced male supremacy. Her gods were male. The angels were male. Her apostles too were male. Her lawgivers as well were male. Her trials and executions were conducted by men. It is a male oriented system, and she has miraculously survived in it.
From the ancient to the modern era, this system has hardly undergone any drastic change. It remains preserved in its original form till today. Man continues to exercise his authority over woman at all levels of her existence. It is an unfortunate cobweb a woman finds herself trapped in. What is more perturbing is that women outnumber men in the world, but they fail to assert and make their existence felt. After millions of years they still desperately struggle for recognition.
The inequalities between men and women do not end here. Nature’s phenomenons often leave us puzzled. In the same realm of nature in which male happens to be physically massive and stronger than female, woman was created weaker than man. This situation brings us face to face with a pertinent question. Is it naturally implied that being physically strong man would also be intellectually more gifted than woman? Baring bare minimal exceptions, world’s well-known scientists, inventors, philosophers, jurists, thinkers, scholars, poets, painters, sculptors and the writers have been men. It is inexplicable. It is for the neurologists to tell us if there is formative difference in the functioning of the brain of a man and a woman! However, the social scientists look at the entire phenomenon from a deferent perspective. They maintain their own point of view. Given freehand, independence and authority, a woman is capable of taking more load than man. Her instinctive ability for survival in the struggle against the odds is far more enduring than man’s. Age wise a woman lives longer than man in this world.
What perhaps biases the decision of the sagacious reformers is that a woman by any yardstick is physically weaker than man. She is no match to his massive strength. It is an accepted reality in any developed society. Had it not been so we would have seen combined competitions between men and women in the Olympic Games. Men and women compete separately for honours. If a women’s football team plays against a men’s football team the female would make a mockery of themselves.
It is not the massive physical strength alone that gives man edge over a woman. Domination of man over woman is the outcome of hundreds of centauries’ exploitation of the fairer sex by man, since the era he learnt the technique of hunting. It is narrowing the sphere of a wonderful science that has the potential to unveil the times, eras, ages and the trials and the tribulation human race had to endure during frightening journey from ancient to the modern world. All along this terrible journey, man ruthlessly maintained his domination over woman. For thousands of years he disgraced her. He bought and sold her; traded her; gave her away to the conquerors, and captured her along with other war booty from the vanquished territories. This horrible treatment woman had to endure for years beyond calculation.

The gods assured male believers a permanent place in heaven. There he would enjoy the luxuries denied to him on earth. Apart from eatables and drinks of his choice, he will be surrounded by exquisitely beautiful females, the black-eyed heavenly nymphs. The gods did not give the description of the rewards that would be available to a good woman in the heaven. There is no mention of her.

Without knowing it, man and woman furnish behavioural reminisces of the forgotten years. In the East or the West, a male child is given preferential treatment over a female child. In the East, woman in one form or another serves man. She cooks food for him, maintains his house, and bears children for him. On a silly pretext she is conveniently butchered.
In the West, a woman is toyed. She plays in the hands of man, she is trifled and flirted in the nightclubs and pubs. She is harassed in the streets, she is molested, raped and killed. In the East or the West, woman, like a commodity, changes hands. She is trafficked, exploited and humiliated.
