Personally I didn't know Malghalara khor [Marhooma] and I havent yet came across any of her post that she posted to KW last year or before but may be I will come across to read her posts in future. Surly there are members of KW who knew Malghalara khor and found her truly, frindly and a good Pukhtana sister who had so much love for her people on both sides of Durand line so dear brothers and sisters I like to request you to say a dogha/pray at least for Malghalara khor who was was an active member of KW and today is the day her fight for life was ended she was passed away died with cancer last year. May Allah bless her soul and give her the jaza for all her good deeds "Ameen". Dah Allah pah aman. Rokhan

Did anyone notice when the famous Pakhtun poet, Mr. Afridi, of the same clan as the owner/publisher of the Peshawar FRONTIER POST, died last year?
Maybe I overlooked those posts on KW?

Did anyone comment or notice when retired Air Marshal Ashgar Khan's son, while a member of President Musharraf's cabinet, was murdered in office a year or so back? He was another up and coming Pakhtun who was being talked of as a possible candidate in future elections to be President of Pakistan.

Did anyone in the NWFP try to help elect Air Marshal Khan, a Pakhtun, when he sought the Pakistani Presidency but was put in prision by the late President Shafique Ali Bhutto?

Has anyone read and are they now able to discuss the over 28 books which Air Marshal (Ret) Ashgar Khan, the famous Pakhtun statesman, has written on and about Pakistan?

im pretty sure that all those 28 books written by Ashgar khan would have nothing to do with pukhtoon in Pukhtoonkha but ofcourse he would hav a alot of stuff for punjabi(pakistan) cause.they all were away to pukhtoon and their cause ,so they r not of pukhtoon concern too.

we have our leader to remeber and discuss like Khan Bacha khan , Wali khan(PBUH) as their concern was pukhtoon so they r of our concern.

and i hav'nt heard Shafiqe Ali Bhutto as paki president ,you might be saying Zulfeqar Ali Bhutto(Prime Minister not president) .

1. You are correct, I misremembered, the ex-PM was named Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. You are aware that his daughter now wishes to "comeback" politically to and in Pakistan. I do not generally like her, my bias, I admit.

2. I never liked nor trusted Mr. Bhutto, knew him when he was Foreign Minister in his 30s (I was in my mid-20s then) during the mid-1960s in Karachi, then the capitol.

3. I regret that you do not like Pakhtuns who have worked within the system, as Air Marshal Khan was/is a very great man. He represented his heritage with great distinction, but was imprisoned by Bhutto when he became too successful in national politics in Pakistan. No one can take away from him the great record he has as a pilot and actually world famous aviator.

4. The Pakhtun poet Afridi likewise was a great man and poet.

No one can live your life nor breath for you. However, not all Pakhtuns agree with your focus or point of view. Many Pakhtuns do and will in years to come work within the system to the benefit and glory of the tribal heritage/identity of being of the Pakhtun folk.

Singlton, I din't open this thread for you to criticize KW or for your dirty political game but simply I requested my brothers and sisters to say few good words and to pray for our [late] Pukhtana sister who was an active member of KW. You should ignored this thread as you did ignored the blessing part here cause you are a christian and the late sister is a muslim. May Allah rest her soul in peace,
It is really a loss, when some people die its a shock for a family, when some die they are a shock for a few, but when some people die they are a shock for the entire nation "QAM" and they leave a permanant gap which can never be filled. though I dont know like Rokhan Ror about Malghalara much and haven't seen her posts on KW, but on reading the front page of Khyberwatch today, came across the story of this sweet and beloved sister Malghalara, made me proud, crying at the same time but when i reached the bottom end saying that the member died last year of cancer, it was shocking, questioning why Allah takes people like these who are much needed to be here.
She must be a Mashaal for others, people like Malghalara never die they are always here, in our hearts and mind. Tribute will be a small word and love will be a small entity for such a great person.
May Allah Bless her in eternal peace. Ameen.

Thank you for your kind words about a woman very few of you knew. All i can say is that she was a very vibrant person, larger than life and I am not ashamed to admit that I was always in awe of her and loved her. All I have left are her memories.

15 years ago, we went to our family graveyard, my grandfather worried that so many of his children and grandchildren were always on the move, that he had readied 7 graves and had put up a beautiful fence and planted some beautiful trees there. Malghalara pointed to a grave in the corner shouting "I call that one out, thats mine" Abai turned and slapped her hitting her lips and she ran and spat out blood on the plot and said, "Now my blood marks it so no one can claim it, it has the best view". Her words sent shivers down my spine and she saw that and said "look closely, someone just stepped on your grave too." Needless to say she is buried in the corner she chose, Abai did remember.

Please accept my deepest appreciation for your support and I want you all to know how great a comfort it is for me to know that she is still remembered.
